This 116 acre town-owned property includes forested uplands and wetlands, meadows, hedgerows, streams, and vernal pools. Deer, fisher, wild turkey, and numerous songbirds have all been observed on the property. Much of the property is on George Hill and there are nice views of Pratt Hill.

We will make a nice easy loop of about 2 miles. Trail map HERE.

Please wear sturdy shoes or boots, bring water and dress in layers. Bug spray and a hat probably a good idea. I always use hiking poles.

Parking is available off Mechanic Street in Upton. This hike is weather dependent; please check before heading out.

Tortoises roam free (and always will!) but alas, MeetUp still charges a fee.
