Welcome to The Fellowship of the Western Mysteries meetup group! Our community is dedicated to providing a supportive space for those interested in Wicca, Paganism, The Western Mysteries, Western Esoteric Traditions, and anything even closely related. Whether you are new to The Craft, have been practicing for years, or know nothing at all and are merely curious, all are welcome to join us for discussions, rituals, workshops, and more. Let's come together to share our experiences, learn from each other, and deepen our spiritual connection with the earth and spiritual energies. Auch willkommen sind alle, die zwar nichts über Heidentum wissen, aber Harry Potter und Herr der Ringe und Ähnliches mögen. :-)

Druidic Samhain!- The Wiccan Fellowship Wheel of the Year Open Ritual!
Tympannum, Prinz-Eugen-Straße 6, 1040, Vienna, ATIn Wicca and other Neo-Pagan traditions the "Wheel of the Year" is central: Eight yearly festivals that echo the seasonal rites of our ancestors.
This month's celebration is SAMHAIN! The ritual will be held in a Druidic style. The ritual team will be local OBOD Druids.
Samhain marks the final spoke in the Wheel of the Year and is one of the most sacred Sabbats in Wiccan practice. It is the Witches’ New Year, a liminal time when the veil between the worlds is thinnest. The harvest is complete, the fields are bare, and the earth begins her long rest. We turn inward, honoring the cycle of death, transformation, and the unseen.
In Wiccan tradition, Samhain is a time for ancestral reverence, deep reflection, and powerful magic. The God has entered the underworld, and the Goddess, in her Crone aspect, guides us through shadow, mystery, and remembrance. We honor those who have passed, light candles for our beloved dead, and listen more deeply to the quiet voices of intuition and spirit.
Though the theme is death, Samhain is not morbid—it is sacred. It teaches that death is not an end, but a threshold to the next turning of the cycle. We release, remember, and renew. Whether through silent meditation, joyful celebration, or heartfelt ritual, we gather to honor the darkness—both in the world and within ourselves—knowing that transformation begins here.
Samhain is the night when the past speaks, the future stirs, and magic walks among us. 🕯️🌒🍂🖤

(Online tickets are non-refundable.)The event and the ritual will be held in English unless otherwise noted. We sometimes do have other groups host rituals, and sometimes they work in other languages. If that is the case it will be noted here.
Doors open at 19:30. Ritual talk-through will start at 20:00 or so and the ritual will start soon after the talk-through. Ritual length varies but the ritual itself should be over by 21:30 to 22:00. Afterwards there will be time for socializing and merrymaking, so plan to stay longer if you're feeling social and you can. If not of course you can go when you wish. :-) There is an open bar on-site. :-)
Attire: Street clothes are fine but try to come dressed as much as possible in a single colour- black and white are best. If you have ritual attire (robes etc.) and would like to wear them, feel free.
Beginners and experienced practitioners alike, as well as the merely curious are welcomed. We will explain everything you need to do before the ritual- it's possible (and completely fine) to jump right in.
The environment is friendly and welcoming and newcomers are welcomed! We do a full talk-through before the ritual, explain what the ritual is about and what everyone needs to know and understand, and we'll guide you through the whole thing, so there is really no problem coming if you have no idea what to expect.
