Monthly "Pub Moot" and Lecture Series- in English
This Month’s Topic:
"I was talking to a German friend about how I'd started learning about runes, and that I was going to have some magical jewellery made with runes on it.
'Just be careful wearing that around here', he replied.
I knew about the Nazis' use of runes. I tried to explain to him that these runes were the Elder Futhark and not the Armanen runes created by Guido von List - which the SS adapted.
'Still, best to conceal it', he said. And naturally, he was right. Most people won't know the difference."
And it is of course not just the runes. Spirituality and right-wing philosophy overlaps in many ways. What are historical and current reasons for that? How do we recognise right-wing agendas posing as spirituality, and how do we avoid them? And just what on Earth is spiritual racism? These questions and more will be answered in the lecture.
Pub Moots will generally be held on the 4th Wednesday of every month. Sometimes there will be exceptions based on what is going on, so make sure to check back here on Meetup for the exact information
All are welcome- experienced practioners, newbies, merely curious, Wiccans and Wiccan-curious and practitioners of similar traditions and those who have no idea why they want to come but just do and even those who don't know a thing but simply like Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings and suchlike... :-)

20:30-21:00 and beyond- Open discussion and more socializing- eat, drink, and be merry!
Attendance is free but you will need to buy something at the pub. :-)
