Background info:
Baya Muhieddine was an Algerian artist celebrated for her vibrant, symbolic paintings. We're going to spend the afternoon exploring the motifs and visual language in her work, discovering how she transformed everyday elements into powerful expressions of identity. Through multimedia collage, we'll draw from our own feminine worlds to create layered, personal artworks inspired by her unique vision. This is going to be a special and unique class where you'll get to learn about an influential artist while delving into your own creativity!
