NOAA Oceanic Whitetip Shark Proposed Regulation Brainstorm

1-hour online discussion on the proposed rule "Atlantic Highly Migratory Species; Prohibiting Retention of Oceanic Whitetip Sharks in U.S. Atlantic Waters and Hammerhead Sharks in the U.S. Caribbean Sea", available at Federal Register :: Atlantic Highly Migratory Species; Prohibiting Retention of Oceanic Whitetip Sharks in U.S. Atlantic Waters and Hammerhead Sharks in the U.S. Caribbean Sea. All who join will have time to share and respond to other presenters.

The goal is to brainstorm enough amongst ourselves where we are able to submit our own (or collective) meaningful comments on the issue. Comments are due May 22, 2023. It would be useful, though not necessary, to have read the proposed rule and some basic literature on the matter- the info is easily found online. Comments that draw attention and response from regulators in final rules usually can cite research.
