Traditional Music Jam every Wednesday

Flagstaff Friends of Traditional Music (FFOTM) sponsors an open jam every Wednesday from 11 :30 am to 1 pm for musicians who enjoy playing in the bluegrass style. Today we are meeting at the Flagstaff Mall next to the fireplace because the forecast is for rain. Some folks show up at 11 am to work together on tunes and play a little slower. After 11:30, we slide into the jam, using bluegrass jamming basics.

Musicians must have knowledge of basic chords on their instrument and be able to keep a steady beat. Typical instruments are acoustic guitar, mandolin, banjo, fiddle, accordion/concertina, mountain dulcimer, hammered dulcimer, and upright bass. We also welcome folks who want to come and listen.
