"The Battle of Church and State" with Dan Barker, Co-President of FFRF

Details
"The Battle of Church and State."
In a post-Roe America, what might the Founding Fathers have said? Dan Barker, co-president of the Freedom from Religion Foundation (FFRF), will discuss the centuries of conflict between democracy and religion in America and what the original originalists did say. An evangelical minister turned atheist and the author of ten books on freethought, Dan has appeared on national television talk shows from Oprah Winfrey to Bill O'Reilly.
Dan will speak on September 10th at 2 p.m. at the Civic Center branch of the S.F. Public Library, Latino/Hispanic Room (lower level).
- This event is free and open to the public.
- You must RSVP to attend.
This will be the first meeting of the new SF Bay Chapter, FFRF.
While Dan is in the Bay Area helping our chapter get started, he will also appear in San Jose Friday evening, Sept. 9 and at Sacramento FFRF Sunday afternoon, Sept. 11. All three programs will be different.
