Window Display: Altar de Día de Muertos

Help us create an ofrenda for our window display. In celebration of the Day of the Dead, we invite you to participate in a heartfelt tribute to the memory of migrant children whose lives were tragically cut short due to our country's policies. This special occasion allows us to honor these children and celebrate the joy and light they brought into our world.

What to make:

• Marigolds or pompoms in bright orange
• Monarch Butterflies
• Bread and children's favorite foods
• Children's toys, stuffies and and books
• Calaveras (little skulls)
• Calacas (Mexican Spanish slang for skeleton)
• Candles
• Angelitos (little angels)

We will be collecting items during September and on the night of the event.
