Visible Mending for Knitwear (Registration on website required)

Learn to mend your knitwear with style. Bring one or two knit items and repair them in class. Students will receive a demonstration of knitwear mending techniques such as woven darning, Swiss darning/duplicate stitch, Scotch darning, and mattress stitch. A general overview of basic embroidery on knitwear will also be provided. Mending materials included.

What to bring: Bring one or two knit items that need repairs.

Cost: $45. Included in class: A simple starter kit - 1 Clover darning yarn card, scrap yarn, printed technique instructions, and a tapestry needle.
