Fierce Femmes: LGBTQ+ Women of Color — Palm Springs

Fierce Femmes is a social group for queer women of color in the Palm Springs and greater Coachella Valley area. Our target demographic is grown women. We get together for brunches, happy hours, coffee, movie nights, dancing, festivals, book club, wine tastings, hikes, and day trips.

If you’re a queer woman who identifies as sapphic, lesbian, bisexual, pansexual or any other of the part of the rainbow and you’re near Palm Springs or the greater Coachella Valley... You’re in the right place. We know what it’s like to be the only one of "us" in the room. Fierce Femmes is a group for Black and brown women (BIPOC) and our queer allies. All are welcome.

We’re all about inclusivity for trans, non-binary, and cis women. That said, this isn't the spot for cisgender men or anyone looking to argue about our focus. There are plenty of other great LGBTQ+ meetups around—we just want to make sure this one stays true to its purpose.

Every request is reviewed individually, so have a complete profile with a clear photo of you and answer the quick questions when you join. If they come back blank or evasive, we'll pass. It's not personal, it's just how we keep the group what it's meant to be.
