Volunteers Wanted for Tour de Cure: Wine Country

Needs a location

Tour de Cure: Wine Country is a bicycle tour presented by the American Diabetes Association. An option for friends, family and colleagues who don't want to ride, but are looking for a meaningful way to participate and support the cause.

We are in special need of route support assignments such as SAG Driver, Motorcycle SAG, Route Monitor, Bike Mechanic, Supply Driver, Route Signage Posting & Removal. If you know family, friends and others who could help fill out our volunteer crews, please RSVP here and then sign up using the link below.

Volunteers will receive an event t-shirt and will receive lunch if they are onsite at Sonoma State University, or come to the site before or after their assignment.

Children accompanied by a parent or adult guardian (at all times) may volunteer. Otherwise the minimum age for volunteering is 18.

Time and duration posted here are placeholder. Exact time and meeting location may vary depending on your assignment. Details will be provided after you signed up.

2022 Tour de Cure: Wine Country (NO HOST)

Needs a location

Tour de Cure is back in person in 2022. This is the American Diabetes Association's largest engagement and fundraising event. 2022 will be the 31st year.

Although Tour de Cure has been a ride/run/walk event, for 2022, this will be a cycling-only event (the run/walk event is being planned for September 2022 and will be held in Redwood City.)

You can choose between four distances: 10 mi, 31 mi, 62 mi and 100 mi. Recommend choosing a distance that will allow you to return to the start/finish in time to enjoy the festivities and lunch according to your pace.

RSVP here and then register at the ADA official website. A registration fee of $10 and a minimum fundraising amount of $250 ($50 for 17 and under) apply. See below for the registration link.

NOTE: This is a no-host event (not hosted by Team Fighting Diabetes). You'll be joining over a thousand other riders. Ride at your own pace and at your own risk. Start/end time posted on this meetup page are only placeholders.
