Data Normalization Workshop (Australia/NewZealand)

On September 21, the FileMaker Mastermind Group will be holding an actual 2 hour workshop where everybody will be given a data file to normalize. We will start by examining 4 different data files in order to determine which columns need to be normalized and explain why or why not. Then everbody will follow all the steps being given to normalize one of the 4 files, including the proper way to convert it from Excel to FileMaker™ walking through all the steps that you need to take. At the end of the workshop, we'll have a round robin discussion on the subject. Attendees will leave with all the skills needed to normalize a data file; (an essential skill for FileMaker™ developers of all levels), and they will have 3 additional 3 Excel files to practice on.
