This group is for all people who what to start creating movies:

We're an international bunch of film enthusiasts, primarily based in Berlin, with different backgrounds who want to make short movies together. The levels of experience across the group differ from people who have never stepped foot on a film set to people who have already worked in the industry for decades.

Maybe you can act, write a script, record audio, tell a story like no one else, color-grade a movie to look amazing, produce, organize a crazy collective like us, host a film crew at your flat, know amazing locations... you are all welcome.

Roles vary across projects. A director might try sound recording... a make-up artist may like to try acting. Anything is possible.

We meet every Sunday at 17:00 at Workish, Harzer Straße 69, Berlin.

UPDATE: Since we have to start paying for our location, we need support from the community. We decided to start a monthly contribution of 15€ (10€ discounted) to be able to pay the location and the create of an non-profit association (gemeinnütziger Verein).
Of course you can come and check out the meetup before deciding if you want to join.

Then you should join us!

We meet every Sunday. It’s important to us that we get to know each other in person. To create a community of connected people, work, learn and grow together. For film making you need a crew of reliable people with a positive can-do-attitude. This is the place to find them.

Together, we will talk about these topics:
- What you are currently working on
- What you need help with
- What would you like to help with
- What you you would like to learn
This is event is great for:

We are limiting the amount of people, so we can have a structured introduction and discussion. After that we get together loosely with some drinks and chats. And then we mostly go for dinner with a couple of us.

1. To sustain and grow this amazing community, we started a member contribution that is due every month. The money we collect is used solely for the purpose of the community. Of course you can come once or twice without contributing to check us out!
2. This event may be photographed and filmed by us. By attending, you agree that you may appear in photo or video material used for our content and communication.

And talk about books and films and shows we love -- and draw inspiration for our own projects from them. We workshop works-in-progress. We give you the tools -- you find your flow. Broadly speaking, we have ways to make you write!

Born from the daring dream of four friends in Berlin, Loving Lovis was shot with one camera, one mic, no script and no crew, its stories unfolding in real time. A romantic ideal four years in the making, the film follows the story of three friends as they navigate between freedom, friendship and love, drifting through Berlin's vibrant neighbourhoods with a soundtrack of entirely local music. Its unique blend of melodrama and mumblecore is brought to life by the raw authenticity of three young actors, whose lives uncannily mirror the film.

Synopsis: Young writer Nate falls for a girl who brings him flowers every day — until her troubled childhood friend Lovis returns, drawing the three into an unlikely bond that slowly spirals into chaos.
