Investopedia Article – “What Is Retirement Planning? Steps, Stages, and What to Consider”
Some AI-assisted topics:
- Planning for healthcare (Medicare eligibility or otherwise), especially long-term care
- Considering debt payoff vs continuing to hold debt in retirement
- Replacing structure, purpose, and/or social connection
- Evaluating what adjustments you could make if needed
- Considering whether you may want/need to support adult children or aging parents
- Figuring out how to stay physically and mentally active
- Weighing the potential for downsizing or relocating at various points in the future
- Completing any applicable estate planning — will, power of attorney, beneficiary designations, etc.
