About us
FFF>50 has an amazing new home on the web. When you join us there, you'll be able to search for members who live near you and/or share your interests, create an interest-based club, post discussions in an organized and searchable feed, upload images, and of course create gatherings large and small. It's a real friendship-making machine!
Here's your invitation to join us at our new home: bit.ly/4ivrVVd

We Have Moved To Mighty Networks - Come See All The Events
Location not specified yetIf you have not already done so I'd like to invite you to our New Space on Mighty Networks:
***Register with this link: https://community.fff50.org***
You automatically all join the National so please in addition be sure to select your chapter to join: San Francisco Bay Area. And be sure to look on the left side for the "Clubs" where you will see "Literary Ladies" "The Garden Girls" and other clubs of interest. Join as many as you like.
Don't worry about getting inundated with emails...In "Notifications" select "Daily Digest" and you will only get one email a day summarizing everything new. It's great...I really love that feature.
And another great feature on this new site besides having "FEEDS" & CHATS" you can find other ladies in your area by having your city location in the profile.
Please feel free to reach out to me for any help or assistance.

Mortified at Ashkenaz - Come laugh with us
Ashkenaz Music & Dance Community Center, 1317 San Pablo Avenue, Berkeley, CA, USI’m always on the lookout for something a little different for our group, and I was really excited to come across this event in Berkeley at a great venue.
Mortified is one of those shows that’s hard to explain but totally worth it—adults get up and read their most embarrassing childhood diaries, letters, and lyrics out loud. I’ve gone a few times, and every time I end up laughing way harder than I expect.A heads-up: they strongly recommend arriving early if you want a seat (otherwise, it may end up standing room only). Tickets are $25 in advance and $35 at the door.
Tickets
I’m setting our meetup time for 6:15 PM. Please plan to arrive right at 6:15 so we’re ready to go in when the doors open at 6:30 and can get seats together. We’ll be a bit early (the show starts at 7:30), but it gives us a chance to connect before the show, which is always nice. They do have beer, wine, and food available if you’d like to grab something before it starts.
I’ll make sure I’m easy to find and will share my cell number in case you need to reach me.
If you like to laugh—and can relate to being a little embarrassed as a teen—you’ll love this event.
More info: Hailed as a "cultural phenomenon" by Newsweek and celebrated for years by the likes of This American Life, The Today Show, The Onion AV Club, & Entertainment Weekly, Mortified is a comic excavation of teen angst artifacts (journals, poems, letters, lyrics, home movies, schoolwork) as shared by their original authors -- in front of total strangers!Where else can you hear grown men and women confront their past with firsthand tales of their first kiss, first puff, worst prom, fights with mom, life at bible camp, best mall job, and reasons they deserved to marry Bon Jovi? Submissions come from a wide range of participants, from professional performers to total amateurs. All in the noble pursuit of self-degradation. Share the shame.
