Enjoying Old Testament Stories and Prophecies

The passcode is "Old," to get in!!!!! This is an ongoing event, but it has a new zoom link. I don't think the old one will work anymore. The passcode is "Old," to get in. We no longer have a waiting room. We are currently reading the minor prophets, so we will finish the Old Testament soon. We will next start over, reading chronologically this time from the New Living Translation. I hope you will join us! You are certainly welcome to bring and/or read from any translation or paraphrase you prefer. This is more a cultural event than a theological event. The only thing I ask is that we not argue about theology in this event. We can notice differences in theology, but not argue about them, please. The point is to enjoy and learn from reading the Bible. You may bring any translation of the Bible you have, or just come to listen. You will be welcome either way! We started this group on May 21, 2022, so it has taken us almost exactly 2 years to finish the Old Testament, reading one hour a week. If we read 2 hours a week, we could easily finish it in a year, the next time. Let me know your desires!
