Spanish for Advanced Beginners A2 part 1

Is your Spanish rusty or dormant but you understand quite a bit and are able to express yourself within simple interactions in Spanish ? Do you want to better your travel experience in Spanish -speaking countries?

You'll have an opportunity to engage in conversational Spanish in company of other language learners with realtime feedback from the instructor.
Join a small in-person/online group of 3 to 6 students and
anticipate lively interactions in a safe, relaxed and friendly
environment.
In these classes, we will focus on developing your Spanish
communication and pronunciation skills so you
become proficient and able to interact confidently and
successfully while in a Spanish-speaking country.

The purpose of learning a language is to understand and
be understood, and that’s where we start.

I follow a context-based approach to language teaching.
My students and I talk about our lives, create stories
together, role-play,and learn about the world by
discussing articles and videos in the target language.
By acquiring language naturally in this way, students
are best able to learn and retain vocabulary and
grammatical structures.

SPANISH ADVANCED BEGINNER Part 1 A2/ 1
serie of 8 classes of one hour each. The fee is hourly

In this class.........
You will build on what you learned in "Beginning 1"(A1) classes. (check the descriptive of A1/1 and A1/2)
We will go deeper in the discussion of the different uses of the verbs SER and ESTAR.
We will talk about our lives using present tense conjugation of regular verbs and irregular verbs.
We will talk about the things we are doing currently in our lives using the "Present Progressive" construction.
We will learn about commands which is el imperativo to give instructions, directions.
It's time to learn how to use pronouns in your daily life(Introduction of Direct and Indirect Object Pronouns)
We will use verbs like (me gusta..., me molesta..., etc.)to express likes and dislikes .
We will talk about everyday activities using the reflexive construction.
You will also learn to talk about past events using los diferentes preteritos and future events using los tiempos futuros.

The course will be divided in 8 hours of class, one hour per week until November 21st. Attending the 8 classes is recommended for consistency but not mandatory.
No class on 10/3

Homework will be delivered to practice between classes.
At the end of this serie of 8 classes, you will be able to interact basically in Spanish!
Note : The $15 per person and per hour needs to be paid at the moment of RSVP. If less than 3 persons are registered, the class will be canceled and rescheduled. In case of cancelation by the instructor, the fee will be refunded.
You can cancel on your side up to 24 hours before the class. Under 24 hours notice, you will get a credit for a class at another time
