Pelvic Floor Practice!
Details
The pelvic floor muscles are hidden away in a private area of the body, but they are so important to our quality of life! (and even our balance, core strength and more!)
Whether you've joined me before or not, come practice some simple skills along with me that will help keep your pelvic floor strong, relaxed when needed, and resilient.
We'll also talk about some issues you might be having and how to get help.
Building a good mind-body relationship with the pelvic floor is so easy but SO impactful for preventing leaks, reducing excessive urgency and frequency, and more.
Let's practice together and even have some fun with it!
When signing up, please also fill out my short questionnaire/waiver by clicking here, thank you!
What to bring: Please have a squishy ball or cushion that you can squeeze between your thighs.
I'm a Functional Aging Specialist (age 65) and certified teacher of Pfilates, a Pilates-inspired pelvic floor training program created by urogynecologist Dr. Bruce Crawford. Find out more at: www.pfilates.com and about me at http://www.fierceafter45.com and https://fierceafter45.substack.com/ .
This workshop is free with completely optional donations to support this work and help get it out to more women. I appreciate small contributions and also appreciate everyone who attends, donation or no! 🥰
The fun includes my clay pelvic floor with Googly eyes, my “Pelvic Name Game” song, and more! (bring your own fun energy if you’ve got some, no worries if you don’t!).
******** Please sign up on my quick form here in addition to your RSVP on the group. It mentions donations but they are truly optional. Also feel free to share that signup link with other women of all ages who might benefit! 🥰************
And please join Finding Female Friends Past Fifty at this link. The Meetup group will soon be going away, and we have a new "playground" on Mighty Networks, a protected space for events, discussions and more. We have over 6000 great members on Mighty as of now, please make the jump if you haven't already, looking forward to seeing you there!
