We all know the importance of strength training -- and one of the easiest and most important areas to train is actually the pelvic floor!

Our pelvic floor muscles are hidden away in a private area of the body, but they are so important to our quality of life, and even our balance, core stability and more!

Whether you've joined me before or not, come practice some simple skills along with me that will help keep your pelvic floor strong, relaxed when needed, and resilient.

*****NOTE: It is possible that some male guests serious about training their pelvic floor muscles will join this session. This information affects their quality of life too! If so, we'll keep it generic this time and useful for everyone. I'll reach out ahead of the event with a heads up if any male guests plan to attend!

We'll keep it light-hearted and non-embarrassing but real, and we'll also talk about some issues you might be having and how to get help.

What to bring: Please have a squishy ball or cushion that you can squeeze between your thighs.

I'm a Functional Aging Specialist (age 65) and certified teacher of Pfilates, a Pilates-inspired pelvic floor training program created by urogynecologist Dr. Bruce Crawford. Find out more at: www.pfilates.com and about me at http://www.fierceafter45.com and https://fierceafter45.substack.com/ .

Please share this Meetup event or my online signup form here with other women (these skills can benefit us all!) 🥰

And please join Finding Female Friends Past Fifty at this link. The Meetup group will soon be going away, and we have a new "playground" on Mighty Networks, a protected space for events, discussions and more. We have over 6000 great members on Mighty as of now, please make the jump if you haven't already, looking forward to seeing you there!
