Hope, Acceptance, and Uncertainty.
Details
When relationships become strained, distant or uncertain, many of us move back and forth between hope and acceptance.
What are we hoping for, and what have we had to radically accept? What does acceptance actually look like in our lives, do we feel peace, resignation, sadness or grief? How do we keep going, and not slide into endless grief, when there is uncertainty?
Let's consider and discuss the above questions and others, such as:
- What are you still hoping for?
- Has your idea of acceptance changed over time?
- What is the difference between acceptance and giving up?
- What helps you live with uncertainty?
- What becomes possible when we stop trying to force resolution?
As always, this is a peer-led space with room for open reflection and sharing. Meetings may include a simple grounding practice and a lightly structured topic, while remaining flexible to the needs of those present.
The meeting is online held via Zoom. The meeting link will be sent a day before to those who RSVP and found in your meetup messages.
