What we're about

Fintech for Good is a not-for-profit movement for change in financial services, promoting accountability, responsibility and sustainability. We organise networking events, "hack" days, workshops, company search and an accelerator programme for fledgling fintech ventures.

Our vision is one where finance is used for more than profit; a world where finance is deployed to also deliver environmental, social and governance benefits for a sustainable future.

[Radical Futures] Property Investor & Partner Networking @Mortons Mayfair

Hi Rebels, Welcome to the 6th edition of The Property Connector in London...Please purchase your tickets here for entry https://bit.ly/2GeLW1X. This event is a combination of a networking event for professionals of the Real Estate and Commercial Real Estate, Interior Designers, Architects, Proptech professionals as well as private and institutional investors interested in properties in Uk and abroad. The last 4 events went viral, and were sold out before the date. For those who attended only 1 of our past events, kindly note that each event is really different from another, in terms of the type of guests we receive. The one in January, for example, saw a larger than normal number of architects, the one in February many developers, while the one in March had a large influx of buyers and investors, both institutional and retail. The format is always very relaxed and informal, and there is no hard selling at all. We, the organisers, purely create the event and have no product or service to upsell. ******** ******** ******** ******** This is the format of the evening. 7 pm to 10pm. We have a reserved area for us and everybody is welcome to mix and mingle and introduce himself/herself to the other guests. As soon as we have 20 people in the room we will start the session of speed networking and at 8pm those who have booked a ticket for the elevator pitch, will start their pitches. The speed networking session was a huge success last time we run this event, and we encourage you to turn up early to make the best of it. As mentioned above, what makes this event different, is that we let people naturally connect with each other and at the same time, the host(s) is available to anybody who is seeking a specific type of guests or product or service provider or potential client. Exhibitors: A limited number of exhibitor tables are available. This will give you greater visibility through the night and also allows you to bring a total of 3 guests to the event. 10pm onwards. Guests are welcome to continue networking and for sure many wills. You can also move to the other bar area of the venue and unwind and relax. Kindly note that some parts of the Club may be reserved exclusively to their members. Due to the popularity of this event, we strongly recommend early booking, virtually every event we organize at Morton's sells out before the date of the event. ******** ******** ******** ******** Morton's has been at the centre of Mayfair's social life for the past 40 years and overlooks the length of Berkeley Square. The Grade II listed building was built in 1823 and once the private residence of the Chancellor of the Excheque See you there, Zee & Team [masked][masked]

Radical Futures [Hot topic] Surveillance Economy

Needs a location

Hi Rebels, We are excited to tackle this emerging topic with some exciting speakers & panelists. 'Economic pressures of capitalism are driving the intensification of connection and monitoring online with spaces of social life becoming open to saturation by corporate actors, directed at the making of profit and/or the regulation of action. Relevantly, Turow writes that "centrality of corporate power is a direct reality at the very heart of the digital age". Capitalism has become focused on expanding the proportion of social life that is open to data collection and data processing. This may come with significant implications for vulnerability and control of society as well as for privacy.' 630pm Networking & Nibbles 7pm Speakers & Panel - TBC Here are some of the areas that we’ll be looking at: 8pm Panel + Questions from host & the audience 830pm Mixing & Final Drinks 9pm Close Kindest regards, Zee & Team Please say hello if you would like to speak, sponsor or collaborate!
