About us
Welcome to the First Time Sketchers Hands On Group. If you have always wanted to learn how to draw but feel intimidated by a blank page or don't know where to start, this is the place for you. We focus on low-pressure, beginner-friendly sessions where the goal is simply to get comfortable with a pencil and paper rather than creating a masterpiece.
Our meetups are relaxed and informal. We usually spend the first few minutes chatting and setting up, then we practice some simple exercises together to help loosen up our hands and eyes. There is no judgment here, just a group of people learning the basics at their own pace. Whether you have never picked up a sketchbook before or are just looking for a friendly environment to practice your skills, we would love to have you join us.
