JANUARY 2025 Gaming Playtest Event

Happy New Year! Be the first to try new ideas from local designers - and get your game on in early 2025!

First Play LA is hosting at GEEKY TEAS! Come join us - players and game designers wanted for this open house style event!

SCHEDULE: (subject to change)

• OPEN PLAY TESTING! 11:00am - 1:00 pm
• SESSION ONE (1:15pm - 3:15pm)
• SESSION TWO (3:30pm - 5:30pm)
• MORE OPEN PLAY! (5:30pm on!)

DESIGNERS: If you have a game to test and would like to be considered for a session, please email subject "FPLA JAN25 DESIGNER” to playtest@cardboardalchemy.com by end of Weds, Jan 8. Please mention 4 things - the title, the player count, the play time, and a one-line description of your game (120 characters). Note that two-player games and games 30min or less will only be considered for open play.

FEE: $5 to play at Geeky Teas - payable at the event to Geeky Teas at front desk. Once paid, you're covered to play games ALL DAY.

SPECIAL NOTES: No outside food is permitted but there are snacks/drinks sold at Geeky Teas. Also, FYI - There are cats at the store, roaming but keep to themselves.
