To get the most out of this workout is to bring your heart rate monitor.

Improve your strength, speed and endurance on the hill. This will work not only workout your heart but also your all your lower extremity muscles in your hips, legs and thighs.

Be sure to stay hydrated and during the winter months, bring reflective gear and a light to be more visible to traffic. It's not a competition so train at your own pace. It doesn't matter if you're a walker or runner, you'll benefit from this training.
