Greetings Fellow Music Lovers!
Our group took a bit of a summer hiatus, but now that summer is over, let's get together before we find ourselves in the middle of the holiday season, and I'm pleasantly surprised that the group actually doubled in size over the summer, so it's time we get together and get to know each other while we enjoy listening to Great Music together.
With all of our new members, we can discuss what we want our "new" group to be, frequency of MeetUps and whether we want to continue alternating genres between classical and classic rock, or if there is a consensus to stay with just one genre (so come and let your preferences be known!)
I have a nice surround sound system, and our previous format was to listen to a piece of music together, often with a brief discussion after (Did you like it? Why or why not?)
If we are to continue to alternate genres, next up would be classical, so if you like, bring a CD or LP of your favorite piece of classical music for us to listen to together, which is also a good way to hear something new that you may not have heard before, but you don't have to bring anything as I have plenty of records and CDs that we can also choose from.
