What we’re about
This is a group for anyone interested or involved in any aspect of: software development (mobile apps, cloud computing, SaaS, desktop apps, embedded systems, etc.), web development (front-end, back-end, or full stack), and/or information technology (anything business related; IT administration, helpdesk, system/database administration, etc.). Everyone is welcome from students/hobbyists to seasoned professionals.
Most other larger cities have meetup groups for topics like JavaScript, WordPress, Linux, Python, etc. and these groups have monthly presentations for the benefit and development of their members. Presentation topics are typically: showing off side projects, how-to’s on specific topics, emerging trends/technologies, showcasing company products (informatively and with value to the members, not just straight plugs), etc.
The aim will be to have both social meetups (think drinks and food downtown) and serious meetups (presentations, venue needed).
