Come be part of a flash mob format line dance event in Napa!
First we'll learn Dance With Me Tonight and Chocolate City Hustle, easy level, upbeat and inspirational line dances together, in five practice sessions over a two month period. Then we'll perform the dances! A flash mob, for those who are unfamiliar with the concept, is a planned performance that appears to be spontaneous and therefore has a wonderful surprise element to it. Anyone who enjoys dance is welcome.
The purpose of the event is to bring the community together through the joy of dance.

Below are both a sample dance video and a tutorial video of Chocolate City Hustle.
We won't clap as is done in the dance sample.
The sample dance shows a turn and the tutorial teaches it without a turn.
The turn is optional. It is suggested to first learn it without the turn and then decide if you want to add the turn later.
At home, you'll practice to Old Time Rock and Roll as in the tutorial. Once you've learned it, practice to Van Morrison's Moon Dance. We will perform it to the song Moon Dance.
When we have in person practices, we'll only practice to Moon Dance.
In the middle of the song Moon Dance, there is an instrumental interlude in which we will dance free style. Then, when the vocals pick up again, we will go back to the steps in the dance routine.

Dwight Murray Plaza is on First St. between Main St. and Coombs St.,
next to Napa Noodles 1124 First St.
2)Then, we'll walk to Veteran's Memorial Park, 800 Main St. for the second performance. Then we'll take pictures there by the river:)
Veteran's Memorial Park is on the corner of Main and Third Streets.
