Feast on Reel Food: The Last Meal

Details
Dear Festival friend,
The Flatirons Food Film Festival is ending its yearly multi-day festival extravaganzas of food films, film-related culinary events, and discussion after eight Festivals. We have loved every minute of these amazing ten years but it's time to relax and enjoy life outside of the Festival.
Farewell does not mean a permanent goodbye. We intend to keep exploring food culture through films, events, and speakers but periodically and on a smaller scale.
Let's celebrate the Festival this Thursday, October 20th
On Thursday, October 20th, 7-9:30pm, join us for Feast on Reel Food: The Final Meal, a celebration of our Festivals. We couldn't have held eight Festivals and other events without your support and the generosity of local restaurants and other food-related businesses, volunteers, sponsors and grant funders. This last Festival-sized event is our way of thanking our community and coming together.
Enjoy:
- Bites of Italian food from top Boulder restaurants Audrey Jane's Pizza Garage, Basta, Big Red F Group, Farrow and gluten-free pasta business Capello's and baklava from Bread and Baklava
- A screening of The Truffle Hunters, a documentary that follows a handful of irascible Italian elderly men who have made truffle hunting with their cherished dogs a lifelong passion
- Discussion with truffle experts Frasca Food and Wine Culinary Director Eduardo Valle Lobo, Jake Resener of truffle importer Olympia Rare Foods, and Boulder chef and restaurateur Antonio Laudisio.
Note: The proceeds of this event and any donations will go towards sustaining the Festival organization so that it can hold future community events.
We hope to see you this Thursday.
