What we’re about

The Historic Ship Robert Gray (aka Sacajawea) is taking up to 12 passengers this year to the middle of San Francisco Bay for fleetweek. Our ship was just recently recognized by the National Parks Service and placed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Robert Gray is 125' long and was built by the Army to survey the Aleutian Islands before WW2. It then went into service for the Navy, the Army Corps of Engineers, the USGS, and with a private adventure company. Fleet Week seems to be the most opportune time to celebrate our new historical status.

We are taking 12 passengers along with our 10 crew to view the Blue Angels and all of the maritime activities from the middle of San Francisco Bay and as close to the center of the experience as we can get. We will leave Oakland Jack London around 12:00 (noon) each day (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday: October 7, 8, 9th) and return about 4 or 5 hours later.

Our vessel has a commercial kitchen for your use and the many social spaces are outstanding. The boat was recently outfitted to charter high end tours in Southeastern Alaska. You can relax on the helo-deck, fantail, pilot-house, or stay comfy on one of the four couches in the saloon/bar. We can also include an estate room with beds and ultimate privacy with your ticket (please contact us ahead of time to set this up).
