Learn about strategies implemented across Florida to communicate about urban fertilizer pollution and strong fertilizer ordinances. We will unpack how we encourage Floridians to skip the fertilizer and best communication practices for behavior change campaigns. The Florida Springs Council will be joined by experts implementing programs in Alachua County, Orange County and the Tampa Bay area, and there will be a Q&A session at the end of the discussion.
We will be joined by Stacie Greco, the Water Resources Program Manager for the Alachua County Environmental Protection Department, Jane Gregory, the Programs Administrator at Orange County Environmental Protection Division, and Dr. Blake Simmons, the Environmental Social Scientist for the Tampa Bay Estuary Program. This event will be streamed live to the Florida Springs Council's Facebook page, YouTube channel, and Instagram page.
