Best of Maitland Winter Park Kayak/SUP/Walkabout

Let's make it a FUN Day of Exploring the Best of the Maitland Winter Park Chain of Lakes with a Walkabout in DT Winter Park. We will come ashore at Dinky Dock Sand Area and walkabout to DT Winter Park with a visit to the Farmers Market with time for a light lunch if desired. *** I will have a large cable to interlock & secure Kayaks/SUPs at Dinky Dock Park along with 2 bike cable locks. Bring other locking cables if you have them. After leaving Dinky Dock Park we will Kayak/SUPabout with a visit to Kraft Azaela Garden before returning to meetup location. Approx. paddle distance is 7.5miles = approx. 4hrs. of paddling. Approx. total time of leisure stops at Dog Island, Dinky Dock Park/DtWinter Park and Azaela Garden is 3.5hrs.. We will all be underway at 9A so arrive to Ft. Maitland Park with enough time to prepare as needed. Route will be adjusted as needed if weather is an issue. Those wanting a shorter paddle may self paddle return to Ft. Maitland Park or arrange self shuttle by doing a one-way paddle from Ft. Maitland Park to Dinky Dock Park at approx. 3.5miles. ***With Dog Island stop and no DtWinter Park walkabout plan on a min. 3.5hrs. load/unload kayak/sups on this one-way option.
***Bring PDF, Whistle, Sunscreen, Bug Spray, Hydration and Snacks and Cord Bike Locks if you have them. ***
