This meet up group is dedicated to the ongoing development , sharing, and education of new, experienced and professional firearms enthusiasts. A meeting place for like minded people to explore and enjoy the safe and effective use of firearms for defense, security and hunting purposes.

Bullets & Cars - Vehicle Tactics & Ballistics
Okeechobee Shooting Sports, 7055 NE 48th St, Okeechobee, FL, USCourse Brief: How much time do you spend travelling in your car? Statistically most gun fights occur moving from or to a vehicle. So, we thought it made sense to create a Two Day Course that really teaches the REALITY of fighting with a pistol IN, FROM, and THROUGH vehicles.
Join us for one of the only LIVE FIRE Vehicle Courses publicly available in the country. Yes, you really will get to shoot cars!
This class is specifically created for Concealed Carry Permit Holders, Law Enforcement and
Security Personnel who carry firearms in and around their vehicle. Students will have the opportunity to Shoot From Inside a Vehicle, Through Windshield Glass, and Through Body Panels. They will also be taught How Best to Use a Vehicle in a tactical environment,Working With and Around It and also for Defensive Cover. Several Hollywood myths will be dispelled as we examine the Ballistic Effects of Various Rounds on Vehicle Glass, Body Panels, and Engine Blocks.

Skills and requirements needed coming into this class:
- Must be comfortable with chosen firearm while shooting in a traditional static range environment.
- Must be familiar with basic manipulation and use of chosen firearm
- Must have a valid concealed weapons license and present it to the instructor upon check-in. If you do not have a valid Concealed Weapon License from a US State, let us know at booking and we will provide directions on how to provide a background check in lieu of this requirement. Background check reports must be received no later than 3 business days prior to the class.
Required Prerequisite Course:
Due to the nature of this course, ALL students
- Must have completed an Advanced Level Course with Florida Firearms Training.- AND -
- Must have completed one of the following courses: Advanced Defensive Handgun Level Three, Pistol Immersion Level Two, or a Handgun Course of Comparable Level.
Decisions on student qualification will be at the sole discretion of Florida Firearms Training. All students must be able to demonstrate safe gun handling, weapon system familiarity, and advanced marksmanship skills.

Equipment:
- Carry Gun - Pistol or Revolver
- 400 Rounds Pistol Ammunition including 50 rounds of your chosen carry ammo
- 3 Magazines, minimum - A Standard Strong Side Carry Holster for your Chosen Handgun (*Click for Holster Guidelines)
- Magazine / Ammunition Pouches
- Sturdy Gun Belt
- Casual, Comfortable Clothing suitable for any weather. We will be using old vehicles - wear
something you don't mind getting dirty or torn! Bring a change of clothes for the ride home.
- Footwear suitable for rapid movement and turning
- Hat, Sunscreen, Bug Spray, Rain Jacket
- Wraparound eye-wear with poly-carbonate lenses or impact-resistant prescription glasses.
- Ear Protection, preferably plugs + muffs. We will be shooting from inside vehicles!
NOTE: Some of the drills and skills taught in this curriculum are NOT SAFE to be conducted with ANY ported barrels and or compensated pistols. Therefore, if you bring a ported or compensated pistol, you should also bring another NON ported/ comped pistol or a SIRT or blue gun to be able to participate in those specific drills.

Full Prepayment is required at the time of booking and will be charged to the card entered at registration.If you need to cancel your reservation, this amount is fully refundable MINUS a $25 administrative fee until One Month prior to the Course Date. Changes or Cancellations received Less Than One Month prior to the Course Date will forfeit the entire prepayment.
