We will hike in for 3 miles and then back for a nice 6 miles. Lots of old oak trees which makes a nice canopy. If you have a walking stick you might want to bring it for this hike, a small portion of this trail has tree roots.

For those looking to burn calories - a 6 mile hike will burn around 1k calories.

Emergencies are rare, but hikers should carry their own first aid kit and any medications they might need in an emergency.

Always bring water and a snack if you want. Be sure and wear comfortable shoes or hiking shoes if you have them. No flip flops.
