Weekly health hike. Follow the map until you see the Goethe Forest turn-in on the right. When you pull on there will be a large pavilion and parking on the right after a few hundred feet. We will be near the trail head at a pavilion, use meetup if you dont already have my phone nimber if you need help finding us.
This time we are doing the blue trail and it is 5.5 miles. There is a small fee honor system established at the park for day passes. Can be paid online by phone to park system.
no potable water at this location you will need water for the trail
Trail is through a woodland and can be varied and isnt paved, bring good shoes and consider critter spray and or protection. This hike is about the same level as the Crystal River trail.
Hat with net recommended!
Hats are cheap if you get them online and are about 10 dollars. Very with it if there are horse flies.
