🐛Backyard Biodiversity Day & Native Plant Sale🌱

🌾 Backyard Biodiversity Day (BBD) was created to celebrate the diversity of our landscapes. We invite you to spend a day with us learning about native plants, pollinators, wildlife, and why they are important. 🐝

This FREE, family-friendly event includes environmentally conscious vendors, educational presentations, guided hikes, kids’ activities, food trucks and live music all centered around a huge native plant sale. 🌻

This event is organized by the Tarflower Chapter of the Florida Native Plant Society, our mission is to promote the preservation, conservation, and restoration of native plants and native plant communities.

👩‍🌾👨‍🌾 All proceeds from the event go towards habitat restoration projects at Mead Botanical Gardens. We rely on generous support to fund these projects and community education. Sponsorship levels start at $50.
