Mead Garden Restoration TARFLOWER CHAPTER SUNDAY, June 22, 8 to 11 AM

Details
Exciting things are happening at Mead Garden! The Tarflower Chapter of the Florida Native Plant Society is seeking volunteers to help with habitat maintenance. See the results of our carefully planned controlled burn to restore and rejuvenate a section of our beloved native plant habitat.
How You Can Help: Volunteer This Sunday!
This is our monthly restoration volunteer morning. Plan to help weed, water and possibly install new plants. Our restoration project now includes three unique habitats: Sandhill, Xeric Hammock, and Scrubby Flatwood. This is also a great time to learn about Florida native plants and the wildlife they support. We hope you can join us!
🌿 What to bring: gloves, a reusable water bottle and your love for Florida’s wild landscapes.
🌞 Time & details: Sunday, June 22 at Mead Garden starting at 8 AM
This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved, learn about fire ecology and make a visible difference in our native plant sanctuary.
Let’s work together to keep Mead Garden thriving!
