Boneyard Beach, Black Rock Beach and Driftwood Beach on Nassau Sound

Details
We will launch from the Sawpit Creek Boat Ramp at 10 am, start by paddling west around a small island, paddle under the George Craddy Bridge and then paddle along Boneyard Beach, Black Rock Beach and Driftwood Beach on Nassau Sound. Depending on the decision of the group, our destination will be a small sandbar island south of Bird Island or Driftwood Beach. We will get out to walk, eat lunch or a snack and be able to float or swim at the destination before returning to Sawpit Creek.
The Sawpit Creek Boat Ramp is located at the northern end of Big Talbot Island State Park off A1A just before the George Craddy Bridge.
There are restrooms at the Park. I believe the park fee is $7.
Please arrive around 9:30 am so we can launch at 10 am.
Total time on water and land: 4.5 - 5 hours
Total distance: 9 - 10 miles (with the current)
Level: Intermediate
Low tide: 12:25 pm
If you have not already done so, before driving to the Sawpit Creek Boat Ramp please sign the release on the Florida Sea Kayaking web page at: https://form.jotform.com/210074080408142
If your plans change and you will not be attending, please change your status from attending to not attending on the Meetup page for this event so I have correct information regarding who will be attending.
Please check this website in the afternoon or evening the day before the paddle to see if there is a postponement due to a bad weather forecast. If I do not post a postponement by noon the day before the paddle, we will paddle the next day at the scheduled time for the paddle.
