Opening of the Bald Cypress Boardwalk and Trail

Located in J. W. Corbett Wildlife Management Area, the newly renovated Bald Cypress Boardwalk and Trail winds through a variety of habitats including majestic cypress adorned with air plants. On the trail, you can explore a cypress swamp, slash pine flatwoods, sawgrass wetlands and hardwood hammocks.

Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission invites the public to join us for a short ceremony to commemorate the opening followed by a guided hike on the trail.
Ceremony begins at 9:30am. The guided hike begins at 10:00 and will last for approximately 45 minutes.
Please remember to bring water, sunscreen and wear appropriate clothing and footwear.
