About us
This is the official Meetup group for the entire Florida Trail Association, the 501(c)(3) nonprofit responsible for developing, maintaining, protecting, & promoting a network of hiking trails throughout the state, including the unique Florida National Scenic Trail, commonly known as the “Florida Trail”.
We do this by providing volunteer, recreational, and educational opportunities for the diverse population of our state and beyond.

Noble Park, E. 9th Street, Sylacauga, AL, USCelebrating 5 years in 2026, The Pinhoti Fest is Alabama’s premier hiking and outdoor festival, honoring the iconic Pinhoti Trail. Held at Noble Park in downtown Sylacauga, Alabama, the festival features camping, speakers, live music, local vendors, trail workshops, food trucks, and family-friendly fun.
