Claude Code w Local LLMs & Other unholy AI Experiments

Everyone and their mother knows how to use ChatGPT and if you google something you're bound to get AI helping your search.

But programmers need AI to assit with our coding and so we use apps that don't just live on a website to get our work done.

In this meeting we'll be discussing and making these AI Assistants do all sorts of wonderful new things.

Ever know that Claude code DOESN"T have to use the Claude LLM (Think Opus 4.6 or Sonnet, or GPT-5.4)

We'll discuss the difference between the CLI tools like Gemini CLI, Codex, Claude Code, and Copilot CLI

We'll discuss all the different ways to use the AI Assistants to do our work faster (and sometimes do all of our work for us)

We'll talk about how our jobs are changing and how we have to change how we do our work in this new world and what does that mean for our future.
