You left a place. But the place didn’t fully leave you.
This session is for anyone who has moved countries, cultures, or identities, and is still making sense of what that means. Through a guided collage process, we explore the invisible weight of relocation: what we kept, what we lost, and what we continue to carry.
This is not a technical class, No art experience needed.

What we’ll do:
A short grounding to arrive and settle
A guided collage process using images, words, and symbols
Quiet reflection + optional sharing (no pressure to speak)
This approach is grounded in art therapy practices where symbolic imagery helps process complex transitions and identity shifts

What you might take from it
A clearer sense of what you’re holding internally
A different relationship to your experience of “in-between”
A moment of pause in a life that often requires constant adaptation
This is not therapy, but it is a structured, reflective space.

Materials to prepare:
Paper
Magazines / printed images (or anything you can cut)
Scissors + glue
Markers or pens

Who this is for:
Expats, Immigrants
Anyone navigating identity, belonging, or “in-between” spaces
