Rocky Mtn. Arsenal Wildlife Refuge - Birding (2ish mi Walk)

THE BASICS
Join us for this birding walk at Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge. We will be walking a 2.0 mile loop. The trail is called Ladora Loop Trail (named on alltrails) and is good for all skill levels. The trail loops around a body of water and is generally flat. MEET AT: the parking lot found on the meetup map which on google is called ‘Havana ponds parking lot’ off of 6th ave/wildlife dr. As always, bring binoculars if you have them, camera (optional), water, good walking/hiking shoes, sunscreen, a jacket (warm layers), and anything else you might need for a simple birding walk. We'll set a steady pace and make stops along the way.

If I were you, I'd make some time after or before to take the scenic drive around the arsenal and catch a glimpse of the bison!
