Fishing Excursion: Berry Creek - Weir Road

On the way to Weir, FM 971 passes Berry Creek approximately 4 miles east of Georgetown; the bridge offers access to the creek. There is a rough road leading down toward the creek from the south west corner of the bridge; it provides a good sized area for parking. Riffle flow mixed with some quite nice sized holes filled with emerald green water.

The wading was easy; the stream bottom is covered in medium-sized to large gravel. Cross the bridge and park on the North side.
