WinterFisch Rainbows and Campout! This is a very fun place, since TP&WD release Rainbow Trout. Camping at Dos Rios Campground is just a few minutes walk to the Llano. This will be updated later.
The 10th Annual Mason County WinterFisch season runs from December 7, 2026 through March 16, 2027, featuring rainbow trout releases into the Llano River at James River Crossing. The opening celebration occurs on December 5, 2026, at the Dos Rios RV Park/James River Icehouse area, with 2,500 trout stocked for the season.
