Fishing Excursion: San Gabriel Park - San Gabriel River

The dam in San Gabriel Park forms a small lake whose slack water extends upstream in the park for about a half mile, to the point where the North and South forks of the San Gabriel join at the upper end of the park.
On the downstream side of the dam, the river can be waded for about half a mile before reaching a deeper pool that is still wadable.
