Join Feral Binds and wrap yourself in a sensory seducing day of self connection, compression, and exploration as we bite into a few of the many intersections of play that rope bondage has to offer.
In this playful and supportive adults only Self Tie Intensive, expect to tap into inner power dynamics and lean into new spaces of play that will leave you tuned in, turned on, and even a little breathless.

Throughout the day we will focus on the cadence of the ropes, their movement, and how to create a meditative flow state in the binding, settling, and unbinding of each tie.

Students can expect to leave with a working knowledge of fundamental binds and how they will play best with their bodies to support their own movement/mindfulness practice and aid in physical and emotional wellness.

We will be using an aerial hammock for a portion of the day. You may bring your own or rent one from the studio upon arrival for $10.

Hemp ropes from Twisted Monk will be provided during class and also available for purchase from your instructor.

Suitable for beginners and those who want to explore different modalities in their existing rope practice.

Please come dressed comfortably in layers; form-fitting clothing such as a sports bra and shorts is ideal. Having direct skin contact will heighten the sensory pleasures of the fabric as you feel the connection, tug, and slide across the skin and will provide a better connection to hold you in the binds.

About your instructor: Feral Binds has been showing the ropes, for almost as long as she has been learning them. She found early on that through sharing her practice, she could more effectively communicate through and with the rope. As she continues on her learning journey, she brings this “one bind fits somebody-but certainly not every body” explorative mindset as a leader, offering a safe space for questions and connection. As a passionate advocate for self exploration, she hopes to share how the art of rope bondage can evoke deep trust and security in oneself as well as with a chosen partner.
