​PDA or Pervasive Drive for Autonomy
​Do you often find yourself frustrated that people want you to do stuff in a certain way?

Is your first reaction to a question to say “no”? Do you get mad at your own body for needing to pee?

Then you may experience PDA! PDA is a need to be autonomous and have full control over when and how you do things. It is a common trait of both ADHD and Autism and can be seen in many aspects of life.

PDA can affect your work, your relationships, and even your self esteem.

Emily will deep dive into what the traits of PDA are and how they can manifest.

Then we will open the floor for some discussion about how PDA has affected you.
