Walk & Talk at NorthPark Center

Come join us at NorthPark Center for getting in some steps and fellowship with members.

We will walk about 2 miles around the NorthPark Center starting from the box office of the AMC Theatre.

Once we all arrive we will pair up to walk. During the walk we will take turns speaking and listening. This will ensure everyone has a chance to talk. Halfway through the walk, we will change partners.
When it’s your turn to speak, talk about anything you want. Your favorite hobby. Goals. Struggles. Unload. You are not required to talk if that makes you uncomfortable. You do not have to talk the entire time. This is a safe space for all participating.

When you are the listener, you do not need to respond. Just respect the person who is speaking.

Schedule for the event
1:00 p.m.- Greet Everyone
Choose to either hug or fist bump all other attendees.
1:05 p.m. - Group Sharing
In groups of up to 7, everyone will get 2 to 5 minutes to speak.
1:20 p.m. - Walk & Talk
In pairs, each person will get 15 minutes to speak. Then we’ll change partners and have another round of 15 minutes each.
2:20 p.m. - Farewell to Everyone
Say goodbye by either hugging or fist bumping everyone.

You are welcome to hang out and get coffee or lunch with members after the walk and let the conversation continue.
