Friends, it has been three incredible years running this meetup and building up the Ruby community in the Bay Area. We are so grateful for all the people who have spoken at, attended, and helped us organize our events. Alas, all good things must end. Due to changes in the organizers' lives, Fog City Ruby will no longer continue to operate in its current form. However, we would love to encourage you all to start up something new, and will be publishing some materials that we put together that made running Fog City Ruby possible.

We would love to celebrate with you all in style one last time with a party hosted by Carbon Five on Tuesday, December 11th. There won't be any tech talks, just dinner, drinks, and schmoozing with your favorite Ruby peeps. Maybe you'll meet your future meetup co-organizers for that great idea you have!

As always, you may bring your bikes with you up to Carbon Five's space. We ask that you read and adhere to our Code of Conduct (http://www.fogcityruby.com/code-of-conduct/). We are dedicated to a harassment-free experience for everyone. We will ask you to write your pronouns on your name tag. If you'd like to learn more about why we do this, read this guide from Bryn Mawr (http://www.brynmawr.edu/pensby/documents/AskingforNameandPronouns.pdf).

Thanks to our annual program sponsor, Heroku (https://www.heroku.com/), and all of you for making Fog City Ruby great!
