New Meetup: Juice Box Cafe

From: Mike
Sent on: Monday, June 21, 2010 11:27 PM
I finally did it. We now have a FoodBurgh Meetup on the schedule. It's a bit of a change of pace, but well worth it. The plan is to hit up Juice Box Cafe for dinner. Anyone looking to grab a drink afterward shouldn't have any problem finding others looking to do the same.

What: FoodBurgh Meetup at Juice Box Cafe
When: Tuesday, July 20,[masked]:30 PM

For those of you that read the blog in addition to participating in the meetup, you already know that I'm a big fan of Juice Box Cafe. For those of you that don't, you can check out my recent trip here:

FoodBurgh Review: Juice Box Cafe

Sounds like a FoodBurgh-friendly kind of place, right? At the very least, it's a change of pace for the meetup.

Some Juice Box Details. Juice Box Cafe is more of a lunch-style place, but they stay open for dinner: until 9:00pm on week nights. It's a great place to grab a healthy meal over in Squirrel Hill. The focus is panini, salad, and juice. It's quite possible that we'll end up on separate tables, but he single dining room is small enough that I'm not too concerned about ending up too far apart.

Potential post-dinner drinks? Based on my enthusiasm for good beer, it's not typical that we go to a place without a beer list. For those who enjoy that aspect of FoodBurgh, there's no reason we can't make a trip over to Doc's or Cappy's after dinner.
